Martin is an experienced Rolling Stock engineer, starting his railway career as a British Rail sponsored student over 30 years ago. His previous role was leading a team of over 40 rolling stock and railway operations specialists within a major UK consultancy, and has provided specialist rolling stock engineering support to a broad range of clients, including specific vehicle structures and vehicle dynamics expertise. 

Additionally, Martin has significant expertise in railway vehicle procurement, having played a key role in numerous UK and overseas full train procurement projects, from specification production, through design review and introduction into service
