Martin is a signalling engineer with over 12 years’ experience in the rail industry, specialising in the design, implementation and post-commissioning support of Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) systems on several major line upgrades. Having introduced systems on behalf of both suppliers and clients, he appreciates the relative nuances of various metro signalling technologies.

 Martin has rich experience in the TfL domain while working at Thales where he helped successfully deliver the Jubilee and Northern Line Upgrade Projects (JNUP) to service, before adopting the role of Lead Systems Engineer on the complex 4 Lines Modernisation (4LM) project. His subsequent consultancy support includes provision of Cybersecurity and System Integration support.
