Tilt Modelling

We are very excited to launch our new service offering - Tilt Modelling.

With the increasing roll-out of new technologies in digital signalling, such as ETCS, Traffic Management, CBTS and ATO, and with numerous new and upgraded railways adopting broader metro-style operational concepts, come new opportunities for (and challenges in) the world of railway simulation and modelling: to supporting system optimisation, de-risk the design process, validate business case benefits, and develop operational concepts.

Our new service brings together a wealth of technical and project management expertise within Tilt with significant modelling experience from our associate Steve Brown and the tools (chosen to fit the bill), with a particular focus on the application of modelling to support early-stage design decisions and manage whole-life costs.

We can offer a one-stop-shop including study design, choice of approaches, modelling and simulation delivery, analysis and interpretation of findings, all backed up by real-world experience.
